Why plant trees?
Protect biodiversity
Promote sustainable development
Increase income for owner-producers.
Many of us are concerned about the state of the planet that we will leave to our children and grandchildren.
One of the most asked questions worrying: our CO2 emissions whose control requires multiple responses
To reduce the impacts of these emissions, three types of solutions:
-
Reduce our emissions from our current life (9 Tons of CO2 per year and per person)
-
Store the carbon emitted (how to do it?)
-
Participate in the preservation and expansion of forests and oceans
Indeed, trees participate in an essential and discreet way in the storage of carbon and the emission of vital oxygen.
Naturally, trees play a major part in the solution.
We invite you to participate in our efforts by helping to develop an exemplary solution bringing together Malian farmers facing climate change and difficult living conditions.
Our goals:
-
Helping to plant trees by financing their carbon sequestration
-
Improve the living conditions of women who are responsible for collecting and marketing the fruits from these trees (cashew trees and cashew nuts)
-
Expand the areas planted with soya since the shade of the trees and their bio energy facilitate cultivation on the ground;
All of these actions, which today provide resources to 40,000 women, could quickly make it possible to achieve a goal of 100,000 working women.
